“Not what was advertised”

Booked in at 9am for a full service and MOT. Car would be ready in 4.5hr, expected a courtesy car as stated on their own website to be told they don't offer this. 4.5hr later car only had its MOT which was outsourced to another garage. When asked how much longer to do the service, told they dont offer this just minor & major. 7hr later car was ready. Salesman ticked off the job sheet which the mechanic had no clue that he was doing a full service. No confidence the full service was done at all.

I apologise for any confusion over the booking, the website you booked this through was a 3rd party website which does offer courtesy cars at specified garages, however we have not opted into this. As a selling garage we do not do any of our MOTs on site, as it is preferable to ourselves and our customers to have an unaffiliated garage check the vehicles as well as our own 96 point check. While we were not anticipating doing a minor service plus additional filters, upon hearing that this was the job which you required we immediately ordered the parts which put a half an hour delay on the vehicle being ready, which the salesman who also acts as a line manager checked the control sheet as he had been monitoring the process as standard procedure.

Excellent at reception,could have been more specific on the work that was to be done could not tell me what oil they would use just said it’s the one for your vehicle. After 2 hours I rang to ask if the service was done (oil change) no I’ll get back to you 3 mins later yes it’s ready 🤔 no customer courtesy car wash.went to my car only to see they had not stamped the vehicle log book for the service it was all a bit lax after the first hello, you need to practice customer service fully to end

“AVOID AT ALL COSTS!”

Took my car in for a service and MOT had to contact them near closing time as hadn’t heard anything all day and when I got there they couldn’t find my keys. Never had any issues with the car and it passed the MOT with no issues or advisories got halfway down the road the engine light came on so took it back the next day and they done a report and there is 3 issues with different sensors and saying I will have to pay for it to be fixed. Unhelpful and very intimidating when I went down to sort out

This is something I will look into personally, As it is company policy all customers get the highest level of treatment when dealing with us. Any intimidation or unhelpfulness is not tolerated and will be dealt with accordingly, This is the first time anyone has ever said this about our team as all the reviews mention how helpful and friendly the team are. I am aware that after your MOT and Oil and Filter service your engine management light came on after a short drive. On your return it was diagnosed as p2032-16 exhaust gas temp sensor low circuit, p2084-62 exhaust gas temp sensor range/performance and p026e-7B Charge cooler issue. (neither of these are touched during a routine oil and filter service) unfortunately sensors can fail at any time and it appears to just be bad luck that its happened after your MOT and service in this circumstance.
