Polite and Competent
"No drama. Can wait for vehicle and observe it being tested (if you want to). Always polite and helpful. Didn't want to rate 'informed during repairs' as none done, but you have to rate to progress review so gave 1 star (but not applicable)"
"We are a garage based in Derby and sold a car and asked this garage to MOT and supply brakes for us as our customer lived around the corner and they were extremely helpful. Paul took control of the situation and I cannot recommend them enough. Because we are based in Derby it is always worrying when you use other garages out of town however because of reviews online I decided to use them and was not disappointed. Keep up the good work lads. Chris @ cfcars.co.uk Derby."
A service worth 5 stars!

Excellent as always
"Excellent service and value, would recommend"
Electric Power Steering, or “EPS” as it is also known, is a mechanism that helps you to steer your car. In most vehicles, the EPS relies on a electric motor to aid in turning the wheels. If you've ever driven a car with no Power Steering at all you will have certainly noticed the difference it makes.
Unlike hydraulic systems, electric power steering (EPS) doesn't use any form of hydraulic pressure to provide steering assistance. The technology is fully electric, with an electric motor providing direct assistance to the wheels. Since there is no power lost generating and transmitting hydraulic power, these systems are typically more efficient than hydraulic power steering.
Depending on the specific EPS system, an electric motor is mounted either to the steering column or directly to the steering rack. Sensors are used to determine how much steering force is required when it is applied so that the driver only has to use a minimum amount of effort to turn the steering wheel. Some systems have discrete settings that vary the amount of steering assist that's provided, and others work on a variable curve.
Land Rover is a car brand that specialises in four-wheel-drive vehicles, owned by our very own British multinational car manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover (which is actually owned by India's Tata Motors, and has been since 2008).
The Land Rover name was originally used by the Rover Company for the Land Rover Series, launched back in 1948. It developed into a brand encompassing a range of four-wheel-drive models, including the Defender, Discovery, Freelander, Range Rover, and Range Rover Sport. Land Rovers are currently assembled in the company's Halewood and Solihull plants, while R&D takes place at the Gaydon and Whitley engineering centres.
How can you save money (and the environment) while you drive?
As every garage owner will tell you, there are some tried and tested ways to cut down on your petrol costs (and consumption) while you’re out and about in Warrington or beyond. One is to shut your windows. If you can hear that wind noise in your car it’s costing you more to drive. This is because the car becomes less aerodynamic and has to work harder to motor along. Removing a roof rack will improve your fuel efficiency for the same reason. Another useful tip is to combine short trips into one; each time you drive after your car has been parked for a while the engine will be cold and need to use a lot more fuel for the first 5 miles or so. If you do one trip from school drop-off to supermarket to office you’ll use far less fuel than if you do all those trips individually.
