"Very happy with the work done, highly recommend"
"I have had all my services and MOTs with brookside autos and they have always done a great job. They always informed me before they were going to do any additional work on the car before they did (inc. the cost). Would 100% recommend, all very genuine guys who work there!"
"No problem with work done"
"Had the car serviced there a year ago and was very happy , went back again and still very happy with the work ."
Good Value Service
"Kam Servicing picked up my car for servicing/MOT without any extra costs in the morning which was very helpful and they rang me once my car needed extra repairs. Decent value garage, would recommend."
"I was greeted by Sam who was lovely and she made me feel very looked after. I was given a courtesy car and kept informed when my car was being taken in for the MOT, when the results were back and how long it would be for repairs to be completed. Everything was done on time and it wasn’t a particularly costly job. I won’t go anywhere else for repairs or my MOT or Service now"
Quality Customer Service
"Simple and easy booking with helpful customer service. Fast service and honest approach. I didn't feel like i was being ripped off at any point and all notes were explained following the MOT recommendations."
"Great service at a reasonable price"
Electric Power Steering, or “EPS” as it is also known, is a mechanism that helps you to steer your car. In most vehicles, the EPS relies on a electric motor to aid in turning the wheels. If you've ever driven a car with no Power Steering at all you will have certainly noticed the difference it makes.
Unlike hydraulic systems, electric power steering (EPS) doesn't use any form of hydraulic pressure to provide steering assistance. The technology is fully electric, with an electric motor providing direct assistance to the wheels. Since there is no power lost generating and transmitting hydraulic power, these systems are typically more efficient than hydraulic power steering.
Depending on the specific EPS system, an electric motor is mounted either to the steering column or directly to the steering rack. Sensors are used to determine how much steering force is required when it is applied so that the driver only has to use a minimum amount of effort to turn the steering wheel. Some systems have discrete settings that vary the amount of steering assist that's provided, and others work on a variable curve.
It may not feature at the top of everyone’s UK city bucket list, but it probably should. From lace to DH Lawrence to the legend of Robin Hood, Nottingham’s heritage and social history are rich and fascinating. Add to that a burgeoning independent arts scene, a host of excellent museums and a trendy leisure culture, this exciting and handsome city will satisfy visitors of all ages.
