beyond my expectations
"Upon booking, I had selected collection and delivery of vehicle, The garage phoned me and was unaware of this and did not offer this service. However they managed to arrange this and vehicle was collected as planned. Once the work had been carried out I was given a detailed report on the condition of the car and it was returned promptly - it had even been washed clean."
MOT not complete
"MOT started sometime mid afternoon but was immediately halted due to discovered damaged on multiple tyre rims. These are being rectified before MOT and Service can be done."
"Kept informed and friendly staff"
"Great job done from start to finish with top quality workmanship and great staff."

"As far as I can tell, the work expected was done. The engine fault light no longer appears."
Couldnt ask for better
"Having used before was so impressed that I will always wait until I am working in this area if my car needs work. Love the ability to book online - fantastic options for collection/loan car - on this occasion came to my workplace to collect and dropped back off with no hassle bang on time. No issue with taking on extra request at short notice. All at very reasonable price."
Carried out as requested
"Very happy with service. Friendly staff."
"Good value and good time keeping. Good value and time keeping."
Not keept informed
"Actual service was top quality. Unfortunately I was told Imperial Cars will notify me in due course when MOT+Full service is ready which did not happen. I dropped my car at Chertsey Service at 8.30 am and only after sending them a quick email at 4.30 pm did I recieve a one liner telling me to come and pick it up. I feel this can definetly improve!"
Electric Power Steering, or “EPS” as it is also known, is a mechanism that helps you to steer your car. In most vehicles, the EPS relies on a electric motor to aid in turning the wheels. If you've ever driven a car with no Power Steering at all you will have certainly noticed the difference it makes.
Unlike hydraulic systems, electric power steering (EPS) doesn't use any form of hydraulic pressure to provide steering assistance. The technology is fully electric, with an electric motor providing direct assistance to the wheels. Since there is no power lost generating and transmitting hydraulic power, these systems are typically more efficient than hydraulic power steering.
Depending on the specific EPS system, an electric motor is mounted either to the steering column or directly to the steering rack. Sensors are used to determine how much steering force is required when it is applied so that the driver only has to use a minimum amount of effort to turn the steering wheel. Some systems have discrete settings that vary the amount of steering assist that's provided, and others work on a variable curve.
How can you save money (and the environment) while you drive?
As every garage owner will tell you, there are some tried and tested ways to cut down on your petrol costs (and consumption) while you’re out and about in Newcastle Emlyn or beyond. One is to shut your windows. If you can hear that wind noise in your car it’s costing you more to drive. This is because the car becomes less aerodynamic and has to work harder to motor along. Removing a roof rack will improve your fuel efficiency for the same reason. Another useful tip is to combine short trips into one; each time you drive after your car has been parked for a while the engine will be cold and need to use a lot more fuel for the first 5 miles or so. If you do one trip from school drop-off to supermarket to office you’ll use far less fuel than if you do all those trips individually.
