"First time using this garage, it had lots of good reviews and the prices were decent so thought I'd give it a try. I am very happy with the work I had done, I took my own ad- blue that they filled for me, it didnt take any longer than expected and the complimentary wash is a nice touch. One thing that did get me thinking was that my car takes 0w30 oil but on my service report they stated they re filled it with 5w30 so gave them a call and was re assured that 0w30 oil was added but the mechanic had wrote the wrong oil down."
"Brilliant plain english service"
Another great MOT
"Cannot fault the service received from the team, always get the work done quickly and willing to explain what needs doing with a smile."
"Took my sons car in which had developed a power steering fault after an accident. The staff were very helpful especially when it was found that a new pump was needed and they took the time to help me find the correct part on ebay so that I didn't have to pay a fortune for one and once it arrived they fitted it extremely quickly for a very reasonable price. Great service and value for money, would definitely use them again."
"Car was collected and returned at our convenience and can't fault the price!!"

"This garage never fails to impress. I'm a female driver and I never feel patronised, dismissed or treated in any way other than fantastically. They are knowledgeable, honest and reliable - I can't recommend them enough!"
"Happy, except whoever did the service lost 2 of my air caps on my tyres"

Electric Power Steering, or “EPS” as it is also known, is a mechanism that helps you to steer your car. In most vehicles, the EPS relies on a electric motor to aid in turning the wheels. If you've ever driven a car with no Power Steering at all you will have certainly noticed the difference it makes.
Unlike hydraulic systems, electric power steering (EPS) doesn't use any form of hydraulic pressure to provide steering assistance. The technology is fully electric, with an electric motor providing direct assistance to the wheels. Since there is no power lost generating and transmitting hydraulic power, these systems are typically more efficient than hydraulic power steering.
Depending on the specific EPS system, an electric motor is mounted either to the steering column or directly to the steering rack. Sensors are used to determine how much steering force is required when it is applied so that the driver only has to use a minimum amount of effort to turn the steering wheel. Some systems have discrete settings that vary the amount of steering assist that's provided, and others work on a variable curve.
How to be a better driver
Whether you’re driving in Clevedon or further afield, think about road user etiquette. Showing respect for other road users makes driving more pleasant for you and safer for everyone. For example, if you have to make a last minute change of lane, make your request to change clear to the driver who will need to let you in - and signal your thanks if they do. Be ready to abandon the change of lane if they won’t play ball - your safety (and that of other drivers and pedestrians) is more important than getting to your destination in the shortest time possible. When the position is reversed and a driver asks your permission to change lanes, allow them to as long as it is safe. If you get frustrated, avoid using your horn - it won’t improve matters and might make them considerably worse.
