"What a great service, when we booked we were surprised to see that it was booked in with the main dealer VW Solihull ( by using this website we saved over 40% and that’s genuine!!) the car was collected and returned for a £6 fee, it would cost more in a taxi!! The car was returned washed and vacuumed, Thank you so much I would defiantly recommend this site to anyone."
Great first time
"First time with the garage . Everything quick and easy . Staff were very nice"
"Happy with the service. Definitely recommend."
"Good service, friendly staff."
Fast and effecient
"We have used Lloyds for a number of years now, mainly for our work vehicles. They always do work needed, especially in emergencies, quickly, cos we need to be back on the road asap. Friendly , helpful staff in this family run business, would highly recommend them to everyone Diane at Dial a Dog Wash"
Brilliant and trustworthy
"I and my family used this garage many years ago. Have been using a few others over the years but after my usual garage stopped doing MOTs suddenly I found Villa Cross again through this website. Glad to say that the first person I saw was the guy who has been running it for years. They did a great job and I'm very happy to have found a reliable garage again."
"Decent service but priced high due to having only filters / oil replaced as i got all around brakes done for a similar cost at my local garage. Happy with the service as the mpg upon the vehicle has definitely improved. The staff who i dealt with were very polite and proffesional. I was not around to see the quality of work that was carried out but the paperwork / my advisory list are second to none. Motoserv are local to my work place so i decided to give them a try rather than book a day from work to have this completed at a local garage. Yes i were happy and i would use them again for the advisory 7 mot service as it were carried out very good with regards to the paperwork in that i received. Yes i would use them again."
"Service carried out quickly and efficiently. Advised on additional work but no pressure. Nice friendly family business."
"Picked up and dropped off the car when promised, kept me informed. Great value and service- will use again"
"Very happy with my service.. lovely friendly people reliable and trustworthy 100% recommended"
Electric Power Steering, or “EPS” as it is also known, is a mechanism that helps you to steer your car. In most vehicles, the EPS relies on a electric motor to aid in turning the wheels. If you've ever driven a car with no Power Steering at all you will have certainly noticed the difference it makes.
Unlike hydraulic systems, electric power steering (EPS) doesn't use any form of hydraulic pressure to provide steering assistance. The technology is fully electric, with an electric motor providing direct assistance to the wheels. Since there is no power lost generating and transmitting hydraulic power, these systems are typically more efficient than hydraulic power steering.
Depending on the specific EPS system, an electric motor is mounted either to the steering column or directly to the steering rack. Sensors are used to determine how much steering force is required when it is applied so that the driver only has to use a minimum amount of effort to turn the steering wheel. Some systems have discrete settings that vary the amount of steering assist that's provided, and others work on a variable curve.
