5 star service

"Excellent service and was kept informed the whole way through the process."
Great service, mostly
"All fine but kept waiting overlong because the oil filter was supplied incorrectly twice before sending the right one third time. Not the fault of Bill Lomas Garage, with whom I am very happy. But they need to have a word with their supplier of spares"
"Quick service and worth the money"
"Friendly staff. Called me when the car was ready to collect. I'd originally booked a major service not realizing I'd had one last year. They'd adjusted what I needed doing so the cost came in lower than I expected. Tightened the handbrake as I'd asked. Can't fault them."
"Good straightforward job, used them after some great service on a previous job where they were very good and kept me well informed."
Electric Power Steering, or “EPS” as it is also known, is a mechanism that helps you to steer your car. In most vehicles, the EPS relies on a electric motor to aid in turning the wheels. If you've ever driven a car with no Power Steering at all you will have certainly noticed the difference it makes.
Unlike hydraulic systems, electric power steering (EPS) doesn't use any form of hydraulic pressure to provide steering assistance. The technology is fully electric, with an electric motor providing direct assistance to the wheels. Since there is no power lost generating and transmitting hydraulic power, these systems are typically more efficient than hydraulic power steering.
Depending on the specific EPS system, an electric motor is mounted either to the steering column or directly to the steering rack. Sensors are used to determine how much steering force is required when it is applied so that the driver only has to use a minimum amount of effort to turn the steering wheel. Some systems have discrete settings that vary the amount of steering assist that's provided, and others work on a variable curve.
Founded in 1944 as a maker of handmade steel tubing and bicycle parts, the company known today as Kia opened its first automotive assembly line in 1973 and built a small range of cars known as Brisa in 1981. After a bit of a lull, they really started pumping out the vehicles again in 1986, and partnered up with Ford.
Kia Motors Corporation is headquartered in Seoul, and is South Korea's second-largest auto manufacturer, just beyond Hyundai. According to Kia themselves, the name roughly translates to “rising out of Asia”. Nowadays they offer up a very impressive seven-year warranty on all their cars to please many drivers, and they are consistently rated highly across the board.
The style of older Kias on the road used to be quite questionable, but thanks to a modern makeover, cars from this Korean brand now sport stylish, trendy designs. The current range includes a wide spectrum of vehicles, from the compact Venga city car to the Sorento SUV. The Pro Ceed hot hatch is great for drivers looking for a better, stronger performance and Kia even offers the Soul EV, a fully electric vehicle, for those who after after eco-friendliness and cheap running costs.
