About Daihatsu

Daihatsu is the oldest of all the Japanese car manufacturers, harking all the way back to 1907 when it began trading as the Hatsudoki Seizo Company ltd. In 1953 they began exporting models, by this time as Daihatsu, although in the last twenty years or so these markets have contracted, and the marque hasn’t sold cars in the UK since 2011.
