About Jaguar

Jaguar Land Rover, a British multinational car manufacturer headquartered in Whitley, Coventry, England, was founded as the Swallow Sidecar Company in 1922, originally making motorcycle sidecars before developing bodies for passenger cars. Under the ownership of S.S. Cars Limited the business eventually extended to making complete cars, and the name S.S. Cars was changed to "Jaguar" in 1945.

In recent years, Jaguar has manufactured cars for the British Prime Minister, and the company also holds royal warrants from Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles. Jaguar cars today are designed in engineering centres at the Whitley plant in Coventry and at their Gaydon site in Warwickshire, and are manufactured in Jaguar's Castle Bromwich assembly plant in Birmingham with some manufacturing also happening in the Solihull plant.

About the Jaguar F-Type

With a top speed of over 200 mph, the F-Type is a serious car for serious drivers. Great looks and enormous power mean this is one of the best convertible sports cars on the market. It’s got a lot in common with its predecessor, the E-Type, which was launched in the 1960s, and can launch itself from 0 to 62mph in 4 seconds.

Problems with other Jaguar makes

Even high end cars have problems from time to time. If you’re driving the Jaguar XJ6, you may have have noticed stiff suspension holding you back, whereas if you’re behind the wheel of a Jaguar S-Type, the fuel system may be failing you, or the gearbox may be causing problems. Drivers of the Jaguar XK8 have reported trouble with the power headrests.

Not to worry though - Book My Garage are happy to help you find a Jaguar garage in your area that can pinpoint your problems and get you back on the road without breaking the bank.
