Super friendly staff
"Staff are super friendly always looked after even down to the smallest details. It was really busy so had to wait a while. The guys were great but felt like I was kept waiting longer than I should of been. The prices are on par with any other garage that I've used in milton keynes"
"Very happy with the service I received"

"Efficient and no nonsense. really pleasant staff and did what they said they would , on time and no hidden extras!"
"Great service, good communication, everything as advertised, can't fault anything."
"Staff were helpful, easy to book appointment online. Value for money"
"Top quality garage"
Beware of the add-ons
"I chise this garage because the had a competitive service price. My car had recently passed its MOT so this tells me there couldnt have been much wrong. To my horror i get a call telling me that it will cost another £550 odd pounds to get brake pads and disc replaced as well as wiper blades, coolant, brake fluid and my AC needing recharging."
Nearly as bad as Halfords
"£70 for a vague diagnostics that said it might be the water pump. Kept trying to add extras to the service I hadn’t requested"
Always fantastic service
"Trustworthy, good value, always helpful. Difficult to find relaliable garages, I use Arden Park for all my car work now."
The brakes on your car utilise fluid pressure.
When the brake pedal is depressed, it activates a plunger in the master cylinder,
which pressurises the brake fluid in the pipes and hoses causing the brake components to move.
Brake repairs are one of the most common reasons to visit a garage; all cars need their brake discs and pads replaced at regular intervals. Some of the warning signs for brake failure are squealing or grinding noises when depressing the brakes, or the brake feeling 'spongy' when the pedals is pressed. And of course if you need to brake increasingly hard to effectively slow or stop your car, then you could well be looking at brake replacement.
There are two main types of brake systems: disc brakes and drum brakes.
Disc brake systems are comprised of two pads per wheel, which clamp down on the brake disc when the brake pedal is depressed. When the fluid becomes pressurised, it sends a plunger in the calliper forward, forcing the brake pads on either side of the brake disc to squeeze it, which results in the slowing and stopping of the car.
Drum brakes operate in the same way as disc brakes, but with a different design. They both use friction to slow and stop the car, but drum brakes use shoes, instead of pads. The shoes are inside the steel brake drum itself, which spins with the wheel. When brake pressure is applied, a component called the wheel cylinder expands, forcing the brake shoes apart and towards the inside edge of the drum. Drum brakes are usually found on older vehicles, or just on the rear brake system.
Designed originally to accommodate London overspill and housing congestion, Milton Keynes or ‘MK’ as it is locally known, has shed its concrete new town image and flowered into a creative and cultural hub with a thriving music, arts and literature scene.
Milton Keynes’ excellent shopping facilities keep footfall high at thecentre:mk which boasts over 300 shops and is one of the longest indoor shopping centre malls in Europe. The town has also become an extreme sports hotspot. You can water-ski, wakeboard and enjoy other water sports on Willen Lake, or head to Xscape for the UK's longest indoor real-snow ski and boarding slope, along with some superb indoor climbing facilities.
