We are helping motorists adhere to the continuing COVID-19 restrictions by having their vehicle’s MOT carried out without ever leaving their sofa.
While some of the pandemic-enforced restrictions are gradually being lifted over the next few months, Government advice is to still maintain social distancing as much as possible.
Across our network of live franchised and independent garages in the UK, 42% of them offer vehicle collection and delivery services.
Using our simple and intuitive platform, customers can book their MOT at the click of a button on a laptop, tablet or mobile phone. The car keys can be left hidden in an agreed spot outside the customer’s front door, to be collected by a garage representative, who will deliver the car back after the MOT procedure, posting the keys through the front door.
If a car fails its MOT, faults can be described over the phone to the customer, who can then also choose to approve any necessary work remotely.
Jessica Potts, Head of Marketing for BookMyGarage.com, said: “While COVID restrictions are slowly being relaxed, we know that many people are diligently still being cautious about contact with other people.
“At the same time, BookMyGarage.com has always been about taking as much hassle out of the MOT booking process as possible and making it as easy as possible for our customers – nobody really wants to spend what little spare time they have searching for and comparing garages.
“Our one-touch solution takes that effort away and our workshops that already have a collection and delivery service mean that you don’t even have to open the door to the mechanic. It’s the ultimate in ease and convenience.”
