"Work carried out to plan and advice given about future tyre replacement"
"i am very happy and they were very helpful as i need to levee car overnight the left it inside for security"
"Excellent from the garage. My car went for a full service and I was greeted. by a happy, smiling face. The price and service was reconfirmed before I left and I was told I would be kept updated. As promised, I received a call around an hour later to tell me I needed new wipers on the front and brake fluid change is recommended (I already knew both these). The prices quoted were very reasonable and I was not out under pressure to have the additional work done. My car was ready for collection within 3 hours and I received an excellent service and will use them again."
"A great company"
"First time I have used this garage will definitely be using them again"
Great Friendly Service
"Knowledgeable staff which explained everything to me. Will use again, and already recommended to family."
"They make it so easy by offering a free collection and drop off of your car. This is the second time I’ve used them for a service and both times the service and standard of work has been great."
"The staff were professional and organised, my car was done in no time at all"
A car's battery, which is rechargeable, is one of those components that must be fully-functional for a car to start. This is because its main purpose is to feed electricity to the starter, which starts the engine. Once the engine is running, power for the car's electrical systems is supplied by the alternator, which takes around 20 minutes to fully recharge a car battery.
SEAT is a Spanish automobile manufacturer that was founded back in 1950 by the Instituto Nacional de Industria, a state-owned industrial holding company based near Barcelona. Currently a subsidiary of the German Volkswagen Group, this Spanish company is known for producing cars for a sportier, more youthful demographic. Producing cars and other vehicles using the Volkswagen platform has helped the Spanish brand build a reputation as makers of reliable, high-quality products, too.
SEAT has a variety of vehicles across the spectrum - from SUVs and crossovers to city cars and estates. They also offer some off-road cars with the Leon X-Perience, and a very spacious Alhambra that seats seven and offers great value for money.
About the SEAT Ibiza
The SEAT Ibiza is a supermini with good looks, a good engine and a lot in common with its Volkswagen rival, the VW Polo. It was updated by SEAT toward the end of 2015 with a new high-quality interior made of better materials than its predecessor, and with a new “infotainment” system that works with the driver’s smartphone to easily display apps.
Known for being easy to drive with a lovely gear change, light steering, and a very adaptive clutch, the Ibiza’s steering and suspension also had an update last year in hopes of improving the road quality of the car, making it more stable and a little more fun too.
How can you save money (and the environment) while you drive?
As every garage owner will tell you, there are some tried and tested ways to cut down on your petrol costs (and consumption) while you’re out and about in Dursley or beyond. One is to shut your windows. If you can hear that wind noise in your car it’s costing you more to drive. This is because the car becomes less aerodynamic and has to work harder to motor along. Removing a roof rack will improve your fuel efficiency for the same reason. Another useful tip is to combine short trips into one; each time you drive after your car has been parked for a while the engine will be cold and need to use a lot more fuel for the first 5 miles or so. If you do one trip from school drop-off to supermarket to office you’ll use far less fuel than if you do all those trips individually.
