Seamless and Painless!
"From booking to paying, this was very easy and quick. Would definitely recommend using this service and will definitely use sopley garage again. The search booked us with sopley garage within the next 3 days which was fantastic. Had a call from the garage to confirm the booking that day and then visited, got work done and paid. Easy, definitely recommended, and will use again."
"Very happy with staff and work they’ve done"
Great MOT done
"Excellent service. Done on time at a very good price"
"Great helpful staff, as a woman felt comfortable that I wasn’t been bamboozled with the mechanics of the service"
"I already have"
Waiting time unacceptable
"My car was booked in for MOT at 0900. I did not realise that it would be taken elsewhere to be tested. It failed as it needed two new tyres. I agreed to have them fitted and was told the next tyre delivery would be at 1100. I had already been sitting in the waiting room for over an hour so decided to walk into Havant. It was a boiling hot day and a reasonable length walk. I was told I would be called when the work was done. I 'phoned to check and was advised it was not yet ready. I walked back to the garage at 1315 and was told the tyres hadn't even arrived. Once they were delivered they were fitted quickly but I have had the other two tyres (advisory) fitted elsewhere today and would not use this garage again."
Can’t fault them
"Can’t fault the garage. Always friendly and prompt service!"
The alternator plays a crucial role under the bonnet of your car. It converts the mechanical energy of the car‘s rotating crankshaft into electricity through a process of induction; put simply, it sends power to all the electrical elements of your vehicle.
One of the alternator‘s main functions is to keep your car battery charged, and so a car which is difficult or slow to start can be a sign of a faulty alternator. It also provides power to operate the car‘s lights and other electrical accessories. Therefore lights that seem too dim or blink erratically, and the red battery light glowing on the dash, are all signs that your alternator needs checking out.
Boasting a lineup that includes one of the best-selling cars in the UK (the Qashqai), Nissan is a company known for being experimental. The Qashqai is noted as being one of the first true crossover SUVs. Alongside it, Nissan also offers the battery-powered Leaf, among lots of other cheap and cheerful options, such as the ever popular Micra, and the Note.
Since 1999, Nissan has been part of the Renault–Nissan Alliance, a partnership between Nissan and French automaker Renault. As of 2013, Renault holds a 43.4% voting stake in Nissan, while Nissan holds a 15% non-voting stake in Renault. Carlos Ghosn serves as CEO of both companies.
Selling cars under the Nissan, Infiniti, and Datsun brands, Nissan was the sixth largest automaker in the world behind Toyota, GM, Volkswagen Group, Hyundai, and Ford in recent years; however they are the leading Japanese brand in China, Russia, and Mexico.
How can you save money (and the environment) while you drive?
As every garage owner will tell you, there are some tried and tested ways to cut down on your petrol costs (and consumption) while you’re out and about in Petersfield or beyond. One is to shut your windows. If you can hear that wind noise in your car it’s costing you more to drive. This is because the car becomes less aerodynamic and has to work harder to motor along. Removing a roof rack will improve your fuel efficiency for the same reason. Another useful tip is to combine short trips into one; each time you drive after your car has been parked for a while the engine will be cold and need to use a lot more fuel for the first 5 miles or so. If you do one trip from school drop-off to supermarket to office you’ll use far less fuel than if you do all those trips individually.
